The Zoll-Ident App serves as a secure authentication tool designed to facilitate streamlined access to the Customs Portal. As digital security remains a top priority, the application aligns with our commitment to ensuring both safety and user convenience in our service offerings.

How does the Zoll-Ident App function?

1. Users can generate a QR code directly from the Customs Portal homepage to initiate login procedures.
2. Prior to utilizing Zoll-Ident for unrestricted access, users must verify their identity via an ELSTER account, BundID, or Online ID. Subsequently, they can configure the Zoll-Ident App as an alternative login method.
3. The app must be installed, and the Zoll-Ident option added under “Login Options” within the user's account on the Customs Portal. During setup, users scan the displayed code on the portal and follow the instructions within the app.
4. Once configured, users can scan the login code from their app's home screen and authenticate using biometric options such as Face-ID or Touch-ID for expedient access.

Additional functionality for business clients:

Organizations are now permitted to designate a single main user with an ELSTER account for portal access. This enables the generation of individual user codes that can be distributed via email to designated employees. These users can then access all functionalities of the Customs Portal using their personal Zoll-Ident credentials without requiring an ELSTER account.
